AV TRACKER
The developments in digital technology make the monitoring and control of a fleet of AV DRUM 21 mobiles a ‘must have’ management tool to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the fleet. AV TRACKER uses the GPS (Global Positioning System) receiver to monitor the movements of the AV DRUM 21 mobiles.
For example, during a typical trip it collects data every hour (shorter intervals are easy to program as well). When each trip begins, the position, time and date information is logged, and on return to base the whole trip is downloaded to the Central HUB.
This trip data is automatically processed by the computer system, which displays the trip on the screen (two mobiles are shown). The system can be expanded to hundreds of vehicles and can report on speed, distances, downtime and so on, in addition to the position, time and date of each vehicle.
The AV TRACKER provides:
- Portable electronic tracking receivers that are customised and fitted to AgriVisual mobile products to locate their precise position, time and date
- Portable data loggers to store the required position, time and date and connectors for downloading this data.
- Power connectors and batteries for safe operation of these receivers and loggers in the field.
- Server and desktop PC computer with UPS and connectivity to the system intranet and the Internet. This is based at the Central HUB.
- Customised software and user-friendly interface to provide an interactive database system that can monitor hundreds of mobiles on multiple trips travelling throughout a country.
- A unique digital map of the country of installation, customised for the client, using available survey data and composed at a suitable scale.
- Complete installation, training and maintenance package for field operators, managers and Central HUB staff who will provide the management information.
AV TRACKER is an easy-to-use and cost-effective tracking solution. It has been designed by the AgriVisual Group company, eMapSite, which also has its headquarters in MASDAR House, Eversley in England. The eMapSite experts have been working on high profile information projects worldwide for the past 20 years.

Receiver and Logger:
- Powered by compact Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery or 12V battery (via a cigarette lighter plug).
- Large storage capacity for continuous recording up to 25,000 position points.
- Can monitor position, time and date and configure other monitoring requirements, like speed, distance, downtime etc…
- Logger is easily removed and data downloadable to any PC operating Microsoft Windows or NT based system.
Computer:
- Mapping software that retrieves, stores and displays the trips in detail, to meet client requirements for logging the use of the mobiles.
- Server and desktop PC with Windows, Access database and UPS.
- Digitised map of the country of installation on a suitable scale, with flexibility to include developments.
