Since the year 2000, AgriVisual business in Malawi has steadily increased to a large extent, due to Edward's efforts and the future outlook is bright. During the period 2000-2009, AgriVisual has supplied audio visual equipment and mobile video projection units (MVPUs) as follows:
Malawi Social Action Fund (MASAF) - Audio Visual equipment and public address system (PAS). MASAF is a World Bank funded programme with provides grants to rural communities, to undertake self-help development projects such as bridges and feeder roads to enhance livelihoods of the rural people in Malawi.
Ministry of Health - 3 x Mobile Video Projection Units. One through DFID five years ago and the other two directly to the Ministry of Health in 2009.
Overall future business prospects for AgriVisual in Malawi are enormous and Edward indicates that he is currently lobbying for the supply of 11 x MPVUs in the near future. The organisations and the number of units confirmed so far are, 1 unit for UNFPA/BLM, the National AIDS Commission are buying 6 units for the Government and Edward visited the Ministry of Health at the end of 2009 to hold discussions with officials on the performance of the 2 x MPVUs AgriVisual supplied to the Ministry earlier in the year. Ministry of Health officials indicated to Edward their happiness at the performance of the vehicles and equipment. A few vehicle parts had been damaged in an accident, which AgriVisual promptly air freighted to Malawi for replacement.
